The Ocean is North America's oldest continuously operating passenger train route and runs between Montréal and Halifax three times a week. We leave Montréal Gare Centrale in the evening, passing over the St. Lawrence river to the South Shore of the Greater Montréal Area, stopping at St. Lambert and St. Hyacinthe before leaving the Montréal area entirely, stopping at Drummondville. We stop at Ste. Foy in the late evening for a fresh air stop, heading to bed as we continue on to Halifax through the night.
