We depart Edmonton one minute after midnight as we race towards the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Excitement was building on the train as we approached the Rockies (albeit waiting for freight trains, which was A LOT). Stopping in Jasper, Alberta, the dome cars are FINALLY cleaned for their journey into the mountains.
We then wind through the valleys with the never-ending scenery. As we leave Kamloops, the sun is setting, approaching ever closer to our destination in Vancouver, British Columbia.
